I bought these because the reviews raved about how good they are for ankle arthritis but if it's as severe as mine I don't think any shoe will help. I have basically bone on bone and don't think there's anything that would make it more comfortable but I tried three different pairs so the fault is not in the shoe it is in the severity of the ankle arthritis. If you are hoping to get relief it depends on how bad your pain is. If I were going to wear a rocker bottom shoe this is the one, it's the sleekest looking and doesn't look like a humongous boat on the bottom of your foot.
