I wear a 9 in sandals and a 10 in shoes. I chose to buy these in a 10. I have been looking forever for a sandal that covers my toes to wear at work. When I first tried them on, I thought for sure I should have purchased a 9. However after wearing them for the day I am glad I got the 10. I think I would have gotten blisters with the 9. The straps aren't super soft, and if shoes/straps are even a bit too tight on me, I will get a blister. With the 10 my foot can move around a bit. I like my shoes wide and as far as with these are great. They do have an annoying "toe grip" thing on the sole which I thought would be a deal breaker but it hasn't bothered me as much as I thought it would. A 9.5 would probably be perfect, but I am going to keep the 10. I think they look cute and can be worn with leggings to skirts to capris. They are not the most comfy shoes I have ever worn but they are going to be a go to shoe for me based on the style. I wish they had a wee bit more cushion. I am hoping they soften up and form to my foot better with time. I got them in black.Purchased usual size and the fit is spot on. Merrill’s are a standard in my footwear.I ordered the shoe because I wanted an everyday casual “transition” shoe from Summer to Fall. This was perfect. Not quite an open sandal and not quite a closed in shoe. Perfect ??!Merrell makes quality footware designed to correct the pronation of the foot, especially for instances such as mine, flat feet and plantar fasciitis; again...it’s perfect. Very ideal and comfortable for my feet flaws. ?I gave it four stars instead of five because the color I chose did not look anything like the color displayed in the product description and product images. As you can see by the pics I posted.Otherwise the shoe is perfect, comfortable, fits as expected and I would definitely ordered more. Like I said, I have foot challenges and Merrell makes footware that caters to those specific foot conditions. These shoes are disappointing and not worth the full price. I bought them on sale. I wouldn't buy them again. They are really cute, however, the quality isn't what you should expect from a pair of shoes that cost this much full price. I wouldn't rate them as any better quality than anything you can get for a lot less at PayLess. The velcro on the straps isn't sewn down good and putting it in & out of the closure will pretty quickly tear that strip of velcro off. They are also quite wide--I'd say quite a bit wider than a standard width shoe. They were very floppy on the toe area, which, for me, rendered them unwearable. I gave them to my daughter who has a wider foot, but neither of us expect them to hold up long enough to be worth the money. Merrell charges a lot of money for their shoes. They should do some quality control on them, otherwise their reputation will start to suffer. I will be hesitant to buy any more of their shoes.I normally wear a size 7 but this sandal was huge in that size so I returned it and ordered a size 6. Unfortunately it was too small so I returned it also. I really wish it came in half sizes because I think I would have liked it if could have found a size that fit. These shoes feel confused. The heel is angled inward while the rest of the foot bed is flat. The Merrell company needs to rethink their advertising when it comes to this product. This could be a gold-mine for them if they would just use the key words 'pronation' and 'supination' in their heading. Many people out there are looking for shoes based upon their ratings for supination versus pronation. This particular shoe can very specifically aid in problems caused by SUPINATION because of the angle on the heel block. The heel is angled horizontally off kilter. It caused my ankles to collapse inward toward each other (pronation). I already suffer from pronation, these shoes just make it worse. If you have pronation, DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES! If you have supination (if your ankles tend to roll outward)...maybe give them a try. Aside from that, they're adorable. I wish they were better made as I'd love to keep them.I had the Azura Wrap sandal by Merrell and really liked it until one of the straps broke and I needed to replace it, and they no longer had my size. I need to wear closed-toe shoes and work and my feet love Merrells, so I really wanted these to work. Unfortunately, whatever Q-form insole they are using feels extremely weird- like they thought the arch support should go on the outside of the foot instead of the inside. If I stand in these shoes normally, my arch has no support but there is a hard lump under the outside of my foot, and if I relax into the way the shoe wants to fit it my feet pronate really badly and it's super uncomfortable. There is a whole little booklet in the box explaining how the way the sole works is supposed to be a revelation for women and completely prevent pronation or supination, but given the way it actually felt to stand and walk around the house in them it feels like they have no idea what their shoes actually do. The sole on the Azura Wrap was much more comfortable. There were a couple other issues (I didn't like the color, the place where the velcro strap folds they have a bit of a foot protection that pinched and would get very annoying very quickly), so I'm returning and going back to the drawing board for a pair of work sandals that I actually like. They look good on the feet and have a nice, secure, velcro strap for closure.I bought this very same make and style of sandals, to go on a trip to Australia, 3years ago. They were never off my feet. Comfortable and well made. So I decided to buy another pair. What I received this time was a far cry from the original ones. The sandals arrived in a shoebox. On opening it I was a bit puzzled as to why the paper they were wrapped in appeared to be heavily creased and there was a very strong smell of glue. The sandals were also supported by a transparent plastic insert which was not appropriate for the style of shoe. It would have been better supporting a pair of boots. It had also been trimmed to leave a very sharp ragged edge at the bottom. On closer inspection I can only say that they were very poor quality. The stitching was puckered and substandard. The reason I could smell glue was because the soles had obviously been stuck down, not very accurately, along the edges, leaving a gap showing the material underneath.I tried them on and realised that no matter how much I was looking forward to wearing these again on my travels, I would have to return them. To charge £65 was in my opinion a rip off.Had a few difficulties recieving these shoes, original delivery date arrived and I was informed that they were running late, second delivery date arrived and still no shoes. Contacted the seller who looked into it immediately, said there was an issue with the courier and offered either a refund or to send a replacement pair. I opted for a replacement pair which arrived promptly. The seller was very professional, helpful and I was totally satisfied with the service. The shoes are perfect, I usually take between a 6-7 depending on the style of shoe, I ordered these in a 6 and they're great. I had a previous model of the same shoes that had little plastic bits to alter the strap around the back which snapped and after many repairs I gave up and ordered these, Merrell have resolved these issues and the back strap feels a lot more secure. They do feel slightly tighter across the top of my foot than my previous pair but I'm not sure if that's just because my old ones had stretched a bit. They look lovely, feel secure and comfy, really happy with them. Was looking for a supportive outdoor sandal that wasn't open toe, because I don't like that style! So these fitted the brief perfectly, bit pricey but they are robust and super comfy, no problems walking around in the heat for a few hours, would be great if I could find more funky colours in this style and brand? These are fantastic shoes. I love Merrill. I got them because they support my feet as I have plantur fasciitis. Whilst they are ok for most of the day, my feet begin to ache. They could do with having a slightly thicker, shock absorbing sole, but great comfort.Have to have close toe and black in the hospital and these are great for work this summer, already worn them for a couple of hot busy days in ED and they were comfortable and cool.
