PERFORMANCE FOR EVERYONE The CEP Compression Calf Sleeves 3.0 feature the same progressive compression found in our full 3.0 Run Socks. Our proprietary compression profile is clinically proven to improve performance, prevent injury, and reduce micro-trauma to the muscles in your lower leg. By increasing circulation the muscles are fueled with more oxygen and nutrients, giving you more power and control during active use, and helps to prevent overuse injuries. Goodbye Shin Splints. CEP’s high-tech compression fibers wrap around the leg over 300 times. This gives your calf muscle maximum support and stability, and prevents micro tears in the connective tissues that cause shin splints. Stay Cool Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Built in air-conditioning allows air to flow through the ribbed pattern on the front of the shin. Air will hit any moisture that has been pulled from the surface of your skin. This creates a cooling affect that can reduce skin temperature up-to 6 degrees Fahrenheit. Outlast the Competition Unlike other brands, you don’t have to worry about wearing out your CEP Calf Sleeves before next season. You can expect to get over 150 wears and washes before compression slowly starts to decrease. That means if you wore them every other day they should last you at least a year or more! HeiQ Smart Temp Is a revolutionary textile technology that provides fabrics with the ability to interact with body temperature and dynamically respond to body heat. The cooling function is activated when you are hot and sweaty and deactivated once cooling is complete. I bought these for my wife. she uses them under her pants suits for work, as she sits at her desk most of the day.She can wear regular women's shoes with open toes with these sleeves.I love these compression sleeves. They have reduced swelling, my legs have less discomfort and feel lighter. They also come in a variety of colors which allows me to match them up nicely with various outfits. Will buy more!I bought these about a month or more back and decided to give them a tryout before reviewing them. I suffer from severe shin splints brought on by magnesium deficiency and lactic acidosis, and at the time, lived a sedentary lifestyle being a revenue auditor that home school's my son. I bought the CEP Women's Size IV (size 4) for $35 because those are what is supposed to fit my 17" round calves with a compression listed of 20-30mmHg. I also ordered the much cheaper ($12.99 per pair) Physix Gear Sport L/XL rated for calves 14-19 inches around with a compression of 15-20mmHg. Here is what I have to say:I like my CEP model a lot, they are easier to get on, fit well, and do hold the muscles in my legs comfortably and have worked to help eliminate my shin splints and muscle cramps. My two complaints are that #1, they are a little short by about 1/4 to 1/2 inch (and my legs measure 11.5 inches from just below my knee to top of my ankle) and the compression isn't as tight as I'd have figured for a 20-30mmHg. They FIT, and are not super, cut the circulation off tight around the calf/knee and ankle.I do tend to wear them more often (four days out of five), though because of my general complaints about the Physix Gear model. The fabric is a bit thinner with these, especially with the bit of stretching I do with them, but it is a good, quality material that looks like it is going to stand up well to time. I have not washed them yet and most definitely do NOT plan to wash in hot water or dry in dryer.I WOULD like the Physix Gear model better because overall, the compression, even though rated 15-20mmHg, is tighter and more comfortable on my muscles and shins for the aches/pains that I have. The material is a bit thicker and looks like, even though over half the price, will hold up a bit better than the CEP model. My complaints about the Physix gear are the following: Ankle band/opening is FAR TOO TIGHT. It is seriously difficult to get them around your ankles, and once you get them on, after wearing for 12-15 hours, are extremely hard to pull off your legs. They are also about 1/2 inch too long for my 11.5 inch long calves and have bunches/wrinkles along the leg. I choose to bunch them along my leg so as not to put added pressure on the calf or ankle band. I did discuss the matter with the co-founder/owner and his customer service skills are a bit lacking, but he DID give me a 50% refund on them, as I did keep them, and I do wear them, but kept them for my husband to wear on his job as a deli cook and on his feet all day. I will wear them about three days per week myself and have since changed jobs to slot machine technician and am now on my feet for 8 hours per day, and walk up to five of those. They do sweat your legs a little being a thicker fabric, but nothing horrible. BOTH pairs will sweat your legs a little when wearing all day long under thick black Dickies work pants.Which would I recommend?? Either. I have my issues with the CEP being shorter and the price for them at $35, but they are, in my opinion worth the money and I do NOT regret buying them. The Physix Gear would be my 'Go To" compression sleeve with the fit, material and overall presentation/effectiveness of the sleeve. But there are my issues with the Physix Gear and that super tight ankle hurts like hell after wearing for 12-15 hours in a day, and having to get your 12 y/o son or hubby to pull them off at the end of the day is a pain. But for $12.99, they are worth what you pay for them, and do work well. It depends on what you're willing to deal with on issues and your budget. My next pair will be the Zenzha. If you're like me, this about the 100th review you've read (tho I only read the ones that were two stars or below to see what people hated about them and why NOT to buy them before I spent my money.) I received ZERO credit for this review in any way and this is my honest opinion. I hope it helps. You may find cheaper but you won't find better. I have worn these 3-4 x a week Nordic skiing this winter to help with peroneal tendonitis. They have out performed the three other pair that I own in every way. These have the right amoy of support without cutting off circulation. In particular the cuff around the ankle. It doesn't dig in even after hours of wear. If you are on the fence don't hesitate. My husband has a pair that he has used for years with little to no wear and tear. I was them in a laundry bag and hang dry. You get what you pay for. These are absolutely the best compression sleeves available, especially if you have lower leg issues. They carried me through several marathons, 2 Ironmans and countless hours on my feet. If you have shin splints they’re worth every penny. They didn't fit very goodI like the quality, the fit and the support of the sleeves.Really like these compression sleeves - but they are a bit too tight around the ankles and cause discomfort. Although I got the right size for me, based on measurement/sizing chart, I will likely reorder in the next size up. It's a bit TOO tight for me. I also warn that if you're needing these for overall circulation health - invest in one with open toes or covered toes - because this will not compress your feet being cut off at ankles - and I found that it was counterproductive... feels like circulation is cut off from my feet.Make a huge difference, no calf pain or stiffness after long distance cycling. Tricky to get on even harder to get off when your tired and sweaty but worth it. I have the skinniest calves and ankles (smaller than a childs) and held out no hope of them offering any compression but I was gladly wrong, the smallest size is very small and works a treat.I love these compression sleeves. The colour is fab as well!Love those compression sleeve... Size fits perfectly. Hold the muscles well while running. Can definitely feel the difference when running with those. Definitely recommend and would purchase againSo glad I managed to buy these at a reasonable price after a friend recommended then to me. They're miles better than the 2XU ones I have. I'm also glad I went with the sleeves as I think the socks could be a job to get on and off and it leaves me free to wear whatever socks I want - eg double layer anti-blister socks on those long runs.Excellent - washes well, fits well and does the job. Looks cooler than tubigrip!
