Buy APL at your own risk. They almost killed me. I bought a pair of APL sneakers for $212,70. Way more money than I've ever spend for footwear. 3 months later the sole split and flapped around catching the carpet and tripping me. I thought I had done something wrong, After 2 more near-catastrophes, I looked at the sole and saw the split. I am an elderly woman, if I hadn't caught myself in time I would have landed on my head. I went through hoops tryng to get a refund. The best they could do, they said, was give me $170.16. I am horrified that such a blatent and dangerously defective product could not be fully reimbursed.I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I couldn't do that!!?? If this is an APL policy, Amazon should have offered to make up the difference with a gift card for the balance. If this is an AMZ policy, they've sunk pretty low in the customer service department. I'm more than a little disappointed. I'm disgusted.Wore around my house for a few hours then returned. They do not feel worth the cost. Super light, almost like something you could buy at 5 below. Didn’t keep long enough to speak to durability. Wasn’t worth the money to me.I purchased these after first wearing their lace ups which are very comfortable. These are not as comfortable or cute as the lace ups but I kept them.Love these shoes! I was a little hesitant to spend this much on athletic shoe, but these are well worth it. I wanted something unique, comfortable, and easy to slip on and off. These check all the boxes AND I get a lot of compliments! I wear a 9 to 9 1/2 and the 9 1/2 were perfect!Being a nurse I went ahead and purchased my very first APL's . Being on the floor 14 hours a day I knew I needed something that would support my feet and be comfortable at the same time. . They have upheld to this. I do get so many compliments when I wear them and love the navy color choice. I always inform my fellow nurses that they are APL"S.I am only upset that the fibers on the right foot are coming out already after 6 months for such a big price tag it's a shame. If you like have another spare pair ,I wear size 7!I admit that reading the mixed reviews had me hesitant to buy; this style seemed more suitable for traveling and casual wear only. However, I just finished my first workout in them and am surprised by how much I like them! The elasticity of the fabric makes the shoe so comfortable while also remaining lightweight and minimal. I ordered my recommended size of 7.5 (provided by Amazon) and it’s a perfect fit. I would recommend this style to someone who walks or lifts primarily. I did run in them and they were comfortable however, there is probably a better shoe that offers more support, should you need it.I have a true size 11, regular width foot and my ankle and mid foot floats a bit in the size 11, with no ability to tighten up the fit in those areas due to the pull on design. They are comfortable for walking the dog but not for exercise. They are also very flat in the insole. I tried adding a Superfeet insole but it lifts my foot to the point that my ankle wants to rise out of the shoe. Not a good athletic shoe in my opinion. But cute for casual wear.Want in every color. Fit is perfect and very comfortable. I usually wear a size 9 in shoes- 9.5 in tennis shoes. The size 9 fit me well. Will definitely buy again - a rainbow of assorted colors!
