Honestly I have no idea why people wrote negative reviews on this item. It has completely changed my living space. I actually have room to hang my clothes and can finally pick up my clothes from the dry cleaner. Now all my jackets are not piled on the back of my door. I had been eyeing this and not going to lie , I was weary about buying it from the negative reviews. Glad I finally pulled the trigger during quarantine. I was able to put this together without my handyman and with no tools (only what was provided) Just a step stool. The two poles are tension poles I have no clue what the person is talking about when they says it isn’t..you slide it up to the ceiling and then lock it in place. It is sturdy, as you can see from the picture I have a lot on there. The curtain that it came with isn’t terrible but depending on how wide you make it (the unit is also retractable length wise) the curtain will not cover the whole thing. The curtain also didn’t match which I had already known when purchasing that I would order two extra long shower curtains. It looks good too at least the way I set mine up, I get compliments. If you are like me and live in a 400 square feet studio, don’t have a closet And sick of waiting around for and paying your handyman, don’t hesitate just buy it. Highly recommended.I moved into a studio apt and was sick for storage space. I turned a dressing area into a double hanging system and was able to adjust the rods high enough to fit folding racks underneath. Then I took a small walk in closet that had 1 rod and some shelving. I purchased an additional 2 systems and created a space with walk 4 rods hanging rods, again going right to the ceiling leaving space below for additions storage. I’ve had them up for several months now without any issue of collapse what’s so ever. The key is to try to distribute the weight evenly. I highly recommend this product. Best part is it goes with you wherever you move. A+++++One of the sets I purchased was missing several pieces and was damaged. The other one had all the parts, but I've still had issues with it. It's not the most sturdy. I would recommend installing a rod into the wall yourself if you can... But if you aren't allowed to screw into the wall then this system is likely your best bet.I just moved into a space that has no closet space! I have a ridiculous amount of clothes. I purchased some roller closets at a very popular store only to not accommodate all the clothes. I found your product and decided to purchase two. I am thrilled. I was worried that they would not work or be unstable, but I was wrong. Two months into the purchase I couldn't be happier!! The best part of the purchase is I will be able to reuse these clothing racks wherever I go and easy assembly. Thank you for a fantastic product. Finally a product worth the price. The only negative is the curtains. They were dated and cheap material. I plan on purchasing more modern curtains when I can.They sent me the wrong item but was very eager to correct their mistake. As a courtesy they actually let me keep the wrong item and just sent me the one I ordered. I love the product! It is high quality and easy to put together. The best solution for lofts or apts with very little closet space. The curtain is a little grandma-ish but that's no big thing because I am just gonna swap it for a sexier one from target. They would have gotten a perfect score if it wasn't for the mix up in shipment.This system is so, SO much stronger and sturdier than any of the portable closets or rack mounted closet poles I looked at. I think 'Simple' in title may mislead people to think possibly flimsy, but only refers to set up & design. More than likely you will want a different curtain, just buy 84"x48" panel(s) you like. I added a curved short rod on open end of poles and used both panels to conceal clothes and poles. I've bought a couple of this companies products and have been very pleased with the great quality at their price points.We bought this over a year ago, and it is still working well, and going strong. We have an older beach cottage that has no closet in the second bedroom, and a very small closet it the master. This is being used for my honey's slacks, dress shirts, uniforms etc. No suits or super heavy clothes, but it's full. If you follow the guidelines it's a perfect strong closet organizer.Easy to assemble like the pieces it comes with
