Online shoe shopping can always be questionable at best. I wanted to find close toed, waterproof sandals that could be worn with shorts/leggings and a t-shirt or with a nice dress for vacation. That is a tall order to fill and I was running out of time.These have worked wonderfully. I was able to wear these on vacation, through water, miles of walking, and even with a dress for a Sunday event. They have quickly become my go to shoe this Summer and I have worn them many times, especially when I know I am going to be walking a lot.Although my feet would be tired after a long day, they were never achy. These were even perfect for going through an airport and I have been able to run in them when needed.When placing the top strap, I like to flex my foot so I don't accidentally over tighten the shoe. I over tightened the first time and definitely had some painful rubbing on one foot. No blisters though, so that was wonderful.Once I found the rubbing was from doing the top strap too tight, I was able to change that and have not had any trouble since.Because of the rubber sole, as your feet sweat or get wet, you may notice light slipping. Mine was not significant, it was just enough to take note of and be aware of.Wearing these in a state park, I did notice dirt, little leaves, and bits of nature getting in the shoe from the side. This was easy to tap out without taking the shoe off but I would need to try an actual hike before recommending them as a hiking sandal.Overall, I would highly recommend at least giving these a try. I have average width feet with a normal arch. I can get awful heel or arch pain with some shoes but have not experienced that at all with these.
