Found cheaper pair that works better.This is the 3rd consecutive pair of Jack Wolfskin sandals I have ordered for my teenage son. They have always been incredibly comfortable and never had any issues with them so did not consider any other brands. However this latest pair have been rubbing on one ankle. Unable to see any reason for this on the strap but his skin was red and irritated in one place. As we were on holiday (the reason for a new pair and bought this month), I put a plaster on the inside of the strap and problem solved. It does not look attractive though as the sandals are black and the plaster is pink. Fortunately he is not concerned about appearances only the comfort of them. He has worn them for the rest of the week until yesterday and then the same problem occurred on the other sandal, requiring a repeat solution. Annoying (because for the cost I do not expect there to be any issues) but not life-threatening ;).Otherwise the sandals are really comfortable but annoying that this has happened as otherwise very happy with the sandals and they look really good and are generally worn for hours without issue.Unlike most modern men's sandals these have a narrow width sole which fits my feet well, and are a pleasure to wear for driving because I don't keep catching my foot on the edge of the brake pedal when moving from the accelerator. I have tried to attach a video of me driving in them but it would not transfer across.Rubbed a little when he wore them, but soon settled and really comfortable.nice looking and very comfortablevalue for money
